I discovered this utility last week. Today I am trying to implement and I am having the same problem that a few others (Jeremy Loh) are having. When Im in the family editor and click on the external tools addin line, nothing happens. I tried downloading again, copying over and deleting previous files to no avail. Im at a loss.

Yeah. It has been recorded and I uploaded it. We just have to get it onto the DesignReform website. I'll post a link when that's all taken care of.

Thanks Bryan, I'll check that out!

I will have to admit that my web dev skills are very rudimentary at this point therefore my graphing library knowledge is very much a work in progress. I anticipate doing some javascript tutorials and practice to get up to speed with that domain when I get some spare time

Zed Shaw put together a book called Learn Python the Hard Way that is an excellent starting point for anyone picking up a new language. Definitely worth looking at: http://learncodethehardway.com/.
What do you like for graphing libraries these days? I'm experimenting with some weather data and have had some fun playing with nodejs & redis for some of the more wacky stuff.

Looking forward to duture posts. I was sure investing a few months learning python part time will end up being useful for energy efficiency and building modelling activities !! I can't wait to get to know more about your experience.
